Reed Flute: The Cave is Guilin's largest and most impressive cave.This cave is 790 feet deep. A visitor will walk for some 550 yards through a zigzagging way of stalactites and stalagmites in dazzling colors. Solitary Beauty Peak:Solitary Beauty Peak,which is located in the center of downtown Guilin and surrounded by other peaks,is often compared to be a king,because it erects from the flat ground like a unique column propping up the blue sky.There are 306 steps leading to the summit where the best panoramic view of the city can be enjoyed.A crescent-shaped pond with crystal clear water in it takes its source from Lijiang River and is tree-fringed.A high rank official Wang Zhenggong in the Song Dynasty sang high praise to the Peak with his verse"The Beauty of Guilin excels all".Being shocked by the unique charm of the Solitary Beauty Peak ,hehad his handwriting inscribed on the cliffs and thus the fame of Guilin sprdaded.
